Watch This Inspiring Tribute to May Fair Volunteers and Their Impact on New Canaan and Beyond

Several years ago, Harvard sociologist Robert Putnam wrote a book called Bowling Alone about the collapse and revival of the American community. And in the book he suggested that it was churches and religious organizations who had the ability to re-build the tattered fabric of our cultural society.

May Fair is most assuredly a community builder that reaches out to the Town of New Canaan, and well beyond, not only on the day of the fair but all year long through our outreach programs funded by May Fair proceeds.

Watch this brief slide show and be inspired by the hundreds of volunteers who contribute to this amazing event — recognized as the largest single day state fair in Connecticut
